Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you and Find and Watch AI (“we”, “us”) about your use of the Find and Watch app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use Find and Watch

You must be at least 16 years old, and the country you choose in the app must be one where the app is available. You must give us accurate information and keep your sign in secure. You are responsible for what happens on your account.

2. What the app does

Find and Watch suggests films and series that match your taste, your chosen vibe and the streaming services you tell us you have. Suggestions are recommendations only. We do not guarantee that you will enjoy a title, or that it will be available.

Our picks, and the reasons we give for them, are produced with the help of an AI service. AI can get things wrong. A pick may not suit you, may be out of date, or may describe a title inaccurately, so please check the details before you watch.

Some titles contain content that is not suitable for everyone. We do not have official age ratings for every title, so please check the content rating on the streaming service, especially when younger people are watching.

Information about titles and where they are available comes from third parties and changes often. A title may move, leave a service or need a different plan without our knowing. If a link does not work, you can tell us from the app. We do not host or stream any films or series, and we are not affiliated with any streaming service.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Plans. Find and Watch is offered through paid subscriptions, such as Solo and Group plans, billed monthly or annually. The price, the length of the plan and what it includes are shown in the app before you subscribe, in the currency of your App Store country. Without a subscription you cannot get picks.
• Free trials. Annual plans start with a 7 day free trial for people who have not had a trial of Find and Watch before. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged the price shown.
• Billing. Payment is taken by Apple through your Apple Account. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Cancelling. Manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings, under Subscriptions. Deleting the app or your Find and Watch account does not cancel it. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Refunds. Apple sells the subscription, so Apple handles refunds under its own terms, including any legal right you may have to cancel within a set time. Request one through Apple’s Report a Problem page. We cannot refund purchases made through Apple.
• Price changes. We may change prices. Apple will tell you and, where its rules require, ask for your consent before a new price applies to you.

4. Group plans

A Group plan lets the person who subscribes (the owner) share their subscription with other people in a group, up to the number of seats on the plan, by giving them an invite code. Members can see each other’s names and the lists they share. Picks for the group are worked out from everyone’s tastes, but the app does not show your individual preferences or ratings to the others.

The owner can remove members, and members can leave at any time. If the owner’s subscription ends, the owner changes to a Solo plan, or the owner deletes their account, the group ends and members lose access to the Group plan and its shared lists. Only share your invite code with people you trust.

5. Your content and your data

You keep ownership of what you give us, such as your ratings, lists and preferences. You give us permission to use it to run and improve the app for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export or delete your data in the app at any time.

6. Acceptable use

Please do not:

• break the law or use the app to harm others;
• try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or use someone else’s account;
• copy, scrape, reverse engineer or resell the app or its recommendations;
• interfere with the app or our systems, or try to get around limits we set, such as limits on how often you can ask for picks;
• share an invite code in a way that gets around the seat limit of your plan.

7. Our content and third parties

The app, its design, its software and its recommendations belong to us or our licensors. Film and series details come from third parties, including Movie of the Night. Posters, descriptions, streaming service names, logos and other artwork belong to their owners, and are shown only to help you choose what to watch. You may not copy or reuse them. Links to other websites and services are provided for your convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.

8. Apple

These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app. If the app does not meet a warranty, you may tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price where it applies, and to the extent the law allows Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for claims about the app, including claims that the app infringes someone else’s intellectual property, and Apple and its subsidiaries are third party beneficiaries of these terms, with the right to enforce them against you.

You confirm that you are not in a country that is under a US government embargo, and that you are not on any US government list of restricted parties. Your use of the app must also follow Apple’s Standard License Agreement and the Apple Media Services Terms. If you have a question or complaint about the app, contact us at the email address below.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time from the Profile tab. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms or misuse the app. If your account ends, we delete your information as described in our Privacy Policy. Ending your account does not cancel an Apple subscription, so cancel that in your Apple Account settings. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as those on liability and the law that applies, will continue after you stop.

10. Disclaimers

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error free, or that its suggestions or availability information will be accurate or suit you. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by things outside our control, such as problems with Apple, our hosting or AI providers, or your internet connection. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have by law that cannot be limited.

11. Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

12. Changes to the app and to these terms

We may update the app and these terms from time to time. If we make a change that matters, we will update the date above and tell you in the app. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the new terms.

13. Which law applies

These terms, and any dispute about them or the app, are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute. If you live somewhere else, you keep the protection of the consumer laws where you live that cannot be changed by agreement, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live if the law gives you that right.

14. General

If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a term straight away, we have not given up the right to do so later. You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer ours to someone who takes over the app. These terms and our Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.
